Michael Price, Ph.D., has joined Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center as an Academic Medical Physicist. Before joining Mary Bird Perkins, Dr. Price was a graduate student at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. His Ph.D. and M.S. degrees are in Medical Physics from the University of Texas at Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Price is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).

Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center has been fighting cancer for over 35 years with locations in Baton Rouge, Covington, Hammond, Houma and soon to be in Gonzales. It has integrated cancer programs with Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge and St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.
