Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of insurance management of assigned payors including follow-up, cash posting, research, and problem resolution. Requires strong organizational and time management skills, independent as well as collaborative thinking, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Requires interaction with insurance companies, patients, and internal staff to better serve collection efforts

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years medical collection experience required. Knowledge of various insurance types including Medicare, Medicaid, managed care required. Must be able to work independently, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and to adhere to established goals and deadlines. ICD-9 and CPT coding also required.
