For patients who are unable to drive or have no means of transportation to and from the Center for daily treatments and live in East Baton Rouge Parish, Mary Bird Perkins’ social services staff can assist with transportation arrangements. Van transportation arrangements may be made by speaking with the Center’s social worker or by calling the social services department at (225) 215-1252.
Transportation in the MBPCC van is available for those patients without any other means in East Baton Rouge Parish. For those patients outside of East Baton Rouge, social services may assist with locating transportation or mileage reimbursement provided by other agencies.
