The Taste of the Tournament Par-Tee and Auction
The 2010 Taste of the Tournament Par-Tee and Auction underwritten by Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and presented by the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center was held on Wednesday, June 2, 2010. This is one of the most unique and highly popular events in Baton Rouge and kicks off five days of golf fund-raising festivities for Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, including a professional tournament and Pro-Am tournament.
Baton Rouge’s top restaurants and caterers generously provided an array of innovative eats and sensational spirits were supplied courtesy of Mockler Beverage-Budweiser and Baton Rouge Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
The evening included an extraordinary live auction sponsored by Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry and a silent auction that featured exclusive gifts, golf items, and original artwork. This year we had lots of unique attractions and activites, including a professional putting green and the fabulous Lee Michaels "sand-trap"!
