The Taste of Louisiana

The Taste of Louisiana is a unique and highly popular event that kicks off six days of golf fund-raising festivities for Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, including a professional and Pro-Am tournament. 

Sponsors of the event and their guests, friends of the Center and golfers scheduled to play in the professional tournament enjoy the traditional pre-tournament sampling of South Louisiana foods. Baton Rouge’s top restaurants and caterers generously provide an array of their signature dishes -- the trademark of the event.

The evening includes both a silent and live auction, and a $10,000 raffle which account for a sizeable portion of the funds raised by the week’s golf activities.
