Giving

Every gift makes a difference in the community. As a nonprofit organization, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and the impact of its mission are dependent upon the benevolence of people who see its value, cherish its existence and want to help ensure its continued presence in the communities it serves.

Many groups, corporations, individuals and foundations play an important role in our community's goal to reduce cancer mortality. Because of their generosity and support, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is able to provide cancer care for all providing those members of the community unable to pay with access to the most advanced radiation technology available in the world.

This steadfast support also provides for the C.A.R.E. Network which was established in 2002 to reduce cancer incidence and mortality in southeast Louisiana and to improve the quality of life for those affected by cancer. Funded by gifts from the community, it provides cancer support services, awareness and education programs, research and early detection through cancer screenings.
