Clinical breast exams will be performed by a physician or nurse practitioner for women 18 and older. Screening mammograms will be available for women 40 and older who do not have a doctor and have not had a mammogram in the past 12 months. Insurance will be billed for mammograms no charge for women without insurance.
Skin screenings open to men and women 40 and older who do not have insurance and have not been screened for skin cancer by a physician in the last 12 months.
The prostate screening is performed by a physician and includes a PSA blood test and physical exam. It is for men age 45 and older who do not have a doctor or have not been screened in the past 12 months.
A take-home colorectal cancer screening kit is one part of the recommended screening for colorectal cancer. Easy-to-use screening kits will be distributed to men and women age 50 or older who have not been screened for colorectal cancer in the past 12 months. This is a screening test and does not replace a doctor's examination or other screening procedure. Test kits may only be picked up by the person who will use the test.
